My predictions for the books
Holes is this character Stanley Yelnats is under a curse from his great-great-grandfather who stole a pig. Stanley has had many unfortunate problems happen to him based off of bad luck. He is sent to a detention center Camp Green Lake where boys build character from digging 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep holes every day. There is not any lake at Camp Green Lake. My predictions for this book is he is going to go to the place Camp Green Lake and try to get away and have the curse taken off of him but it will turn out that the curse is no such thing. It will be all in Stanley's head and it will turn out that all those bad things that had happened to him actually helped to shape who Stanley is.
In this book i think Stanley Yelnats is going to be a shy kid where all bad things happen to him for no reason. I think he will have brown hair and be the kind of kid that likes school.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy the incorporation of the cover here, it helps audience members (like myself) make real connections with the novel. I have never read holes before, and this description was very capitvating. I just might pick it up. I also really enjoyed your detail of predictions!
