Stanley's Great Great Grandfather
In this blog post I am going to talk to you about how Stanley blames everything bad happening to him as his no-good-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. I think that this is just a way for Stanley to get out of any trouble he gets in. I think that is a way to help Stanley cope with is problems. This shows that Stanley is weak minded and shows how he can just blame people for his other problems. I think that Stanley should man up and take whatever happens to him as his own. That is the only way that he can ever accept anything good that happens to him a his own.
Most important line from Chapter 1
In this blog post I am going to show the most important quote of this chapter. I am going to reference chapter 1 because I think that shows a good start and is very in depth and adds meaning. The reason it adds meaning is because is show what Camp Green Lake was like. The quote I think is most meaningful in chapter 1 is "Sometimes a camper would be bitten by a scorpion, or even a small rattlesnake. Then he would spend a day or two recovering in his tent, Instead of having to dig a hole out on the lake." The reason I think this is the most important quote of chapter 1 is it shows how hard times were at Camp Green Lake and shows how many animals came at you and you always had to be aware.
Text to Self Reference
In this blog post I am going to make a text to self reference. In this post I am going to talk to you about how Stanley has been through some tough times and so have I. Stanley always ends up at the wrong place at the wrong time and always seems to get in trouble. I feel the same way most of the time. Like this one time in second grade I got in trouble for stealing when in reality I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and it was actually the kid next to me who had stole. This is just like how Stanley got in trouble for doing something he didn't do.
